The Period Equality Network (TPEN) is pleased to announce that Round 4 of the TPEN Small Grants Programme is now open for applications. The programme invites eligible TPEN member organisations to apply for funding to implement innovative, community-led initiatives that advance menstrual justice and period equality across East Africa.
Applications close on 10th July 2026 at 5:59pm. Eligible organisations are encouraged to submit their proposals before the closing date through the official TPEN Small Grants online application portal.
Grassroots organisations play a critical role in addressing period inequality. Working directly with communities, they are breaking stigma, improving access to menstrual products, strengthening menstrual health education, advocating for policy change, and ensuring that menstruation is never a barrier to health, education, dignity, or opportunity.
Recognising the vital contribution of these organisations, the TPEN Small Grants Programme provides financial support to help members design, implement, and scale impactful projects that respond to local needs. The programme also strengthens grassroots leadership, fosters collaboration across the network, and amplifies locally led solutions that create lasting change.
